Gitterbox EPAL is a standardized container used in warehouses and manufacturing halls all over the world for over 30 years. It is also called Euro-Pool Gitterbox UIC. The container is manufactured following UIC 435-3, DIN 15 155 standards. Its structure consists of open profiles filled with welded mesh with the dimensions of 50x50 mm. It is additionally equipped with two opening flaps enabling the access to components or parts located at the bottom of the container as well as a nameplate and an empty plate where the client can place their own label of the stored product. The container takes up one pallet slot, which makes it a perfect option for transport where the saving of load space is necessary. What is more, it is possible to stack 4 containers one over the other. Its versatility and reliability are confirmed by the fact that 25 million containers of this kind are continuously used all over the world.
